Dear Colleagues,

The Faculty of Science seeks to attract top performing international students, and the Dean's International Postgraduate Research Scholarship aims to attract final year Honours (or equivalent) students, and allow them to compete competitively for a scholarship to HDR. This scholarship is therefore different in 2 key areas.

1.Only students currently enrolled and completing the final year of a 4 year degree can apply.

2.The scholarship is awarded for commencement in Semester 2 2014. Successful applicants will be notified in December 2013 of their admission/scholarship, thus aligning with the timing in the northern hemisphere.

Key countries offering 4-year degrees include China, India, Indonesia, and some UK and US universities. Please distribute the scholarship information to your contacts/collaborations at international institutions. If you have membership or hold office in a professional society, please also submit for membership description (where appropriate).
