The personal statement is one of the key tools that foreign universities use to determine whether to accept students to their school. Thousands of students are applying for the same schools as you will, so a well written personal statement will help you to stand out from the crowd.

In this seminar, we will try to answer the following questions:

1. What are the key strategies and techniques to writing an awesome personal statement

2. What are the key points that universities are looking for in potential students?

3. We will also briefly look at other key documents such as the Statement of Purpose and the CV

4. Finally, we will discuss how to write to professors to introduce yourself.
